It is harvested only after its natural death, which occurs several years after the end of its life cycle.  1. Light the end of the stick with a gentle flame. Let it burn for a few seconds.




 2. Blow out the flame: the rising smoke is light, woody, and enveloping.




 3. Purify your spaces or intentions: pass the smoke around you, in a room or over an object.




 4. Place it in a heat-resistant container. It will switch off gently, ready to be switched back on when needed.
